Books, Clocks, and the Wiley Coyote!

Join me in congratulating gorgeous Sarah, Class of 2013!

 

 I have known this young woman since she was a little girl, and it was my honor to capture her Senior Portraits.  As you can see, books are very important to Sarah.  She not only loves to read, but she likes to collect old books.  You will see some of her favorites showcased in these photographs.

In addition to reading, she is an avid fan of Doctor Who, and loves to listen to classical music.  Sarah has a self-confessed obsession with old clocks and she shared with me her friends have nicknamed her "The Wiley Coyote"!

 She dreams of travel and living overseas for a season or two of her life but first she will be attending Blinn College to obtain her Associates Degree, and then plans to continue her education at
Texas A & M University.

 Congratulations on your graduation, Sarah!  After this session with you, I think books have become one of my favorite props! 

Ashton

So very excited to begin this senior season by featuring Ashton, a 2013 graduate from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy.

Check out his car!  I could have spent hours just shooting this young man with his prized vehicle.

A source close to Ashton desribes him as a "Political Junkie".  Of course, he was active on his Debate Team in High School.

After graduation, he will be attending Hofstra University in New York where he will study Communications.

His future dream job ... Press Secretary.  Ya'll remember his name, I think Ashton is destined for greatness!  Ashton, wishing you the best in your new life at Hofstra.  It was our pleasure to work with you!

Captige Photography has landed in a new location!  We are so thrilled be located on the edge of Houston in the Cypress area.  Our website is under construction, but you can like our Facebook page for brand new updates and discount codes! You can reach us by phone at 281-746-2126 or by email, vicki.captige@yahoo.com.  Because we are located right off of 290, the entire Houston area is just minutes away!  We are still close enough to our former location to be available to return to Austin, Waller and Washington Counties without charging a mileage fee.  Please check back at this blog for new posts very soon.  After an extended hiatus, we are excited to be shifting the focus of our work away from weddings and into family, child and senior photography.  We have been working this spring and have some exciting photoshoots to feature on this blog!  We thank you so very much for your loyalty!  Stay tuned for new adventures ...
