The wedding was full of spectacularly touching moments, which include the groom's sister singing "From This Moment" during the lighting of the unity candle, and the fact that the ceremony was performed by Courtney's brother-in-law. Another spectacular moment was the groomsmen entering the church to the sounds of the Sooner Fight Song, and they were all wearing eye black! Did I mention that Courtney is a coach? These two sweethearts met at OU, and he proposed to her inthe same location where they met. Sometimes the return down the aisle shots are difficult to capture and while this one is almost too close, I love it because it captures their elation at that moment.
Courtney is a veteran of the United States Army and served our country in Iraq. They are both graduates of OU and are now both teaching and Courtney is also coaching.
The day was all about family. Kelly's beautiful twin sister, served as her Matron of Honor, and except for Hagen who is still too young to walk the aisle, they were surrounded by their precious nieces and nephews, Catherine, Justin, Ashleigh and Jack.
This special day was just full of precious moments and smiles, from pre-ceremony, to a quick hallway snuggle just seconds after the ceremony, all the way through the reception, which included lots of good music, good food, lively dancing and beautifully decorated, as I understand, mostly by the mother of the bride. It was a Five Star Party!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Johnson! Thank you so much for allowing us to capture your wedding memories. Sending lots of love to you both!
